Play-based Social Groups
Our aim is to provide a relaxed space where neurodivergent children can explore their talents, connect with other kids and have fun. Parents are welcome to join and they are also free to use this time for themselves.
- Interest driven learning - we know that neurodivergent learners are often autodidactic leaners and so our summer sessions will provide interest driven learning and plenty of chances for self teaching
- Sensory friendly - Every care is taken to provide a sensory environment that our children will thrive in
- Collaborative approach - we value the lessons our children teach us just as much as the lessons we can share with them
- Strengths based approach - We see the amazing abilities in our children and our uniquely designed programs foster these strengths so children grow in confidence
- Evidence-based strategies/ approaches - Our work is rooted in neuro-affirmative practices and are aligned with the Autistic Community. We use evidence-based approaches that work best with Autistic children
- Autistic-led guidance on design - We value the voices of the communities we serve and have designed our program with guidance from Autistic adults
